Adelaide to host first day-night Ashes Test

Cricket Australia announce 2017-18 fixtures.Adelaide Oval will host the historic first day-night Ashes Test.CA confirmed the full schedule for the national men’s team next domestic summer which includes five Ashes Tests and five ODIs. Australia will play  seven-match Trans-Tasman T20 International tri-series featuring Australia, England and New Zealand cricket team.

2017-18 International Fixtures:

Men’s Ashes Series

Ist Test  -Australia v England, Gabba – 23-27 November 2017
2nd Test – Australia v England, Adelaide Oval (day-night) – 2-6 December 2017
3rd Test – Australia v England, Perth (venue TBC) – 14-18 December 2017
4th Test – Australia v England, MCG – 26-30 December 2017
5th Test – Australia v England, SCG – 4-8 January 2018

One-Day International Series against England

Ist ODI – Australia v England, MCG – 14 January 2018
2nd ODI – Australia v England, Gabba – 19 January 2018
3rd ODI – Australia v England, SCG – 21 January 2018
4th ODI – Australia v England, Adelaide Oval – 26 January 2018
5th ODI – Australia v England, Perth (venue TBC) – 28 January 2018

T20 International Trans-Tasman Tri-Series

Ist   T20I – Australia v New Zealand, SCG – 3 February 2018
2nd T20I – Australia v England, Blundstone Arena – 7 February 2018
3rd  T20I – Australia v England, MCG – 10 February 2018
4th T20I – New Zealand v England, Wellington Stadium – 14 February 2018
5th T20I – New Zealand v Australia, Eden Park – 16 February 2018
6th T20I – New Zealand v England, Seddon Park – 18 February 2018
7th T20l – TBC, Eden Park – 21 February

A six-match Trans-Tasman T20I tri-series featuring England ,Australia and New Zealand to be played between February 3-21. The first three matches will be played in Australia before the series moves to New Zealand for the final three games as well as the final, scheduled for February 21 at Auckland’s Eden Park.

Following International Schedule announced today are :- 

  • The first ever  day-night Ashes Test at Adelaide Oval.
  • Brisbane will host the first Ashes Test.
  • The third Test in Perth (at either the WACA Ground or the new Perth Stadium if it is completed in time) from December 14-18
  • The Boxing Day (MCG) to be held as per tradition
  • Australia and England to contest five ODIs.
  • A six-match Trans-Tasman T20I tri-series featuring Australia, England and New Zealand.
