#6 Australia v New Zealand (D/N), Adelaide, 2015

The sights of test cricket under floodlights for the first time were enough to make this test a memorable one in the eyes of every cricket fan but the two teams decided to make it even more special. With some help from the pink ball, the pitch and the conditions with bowlers bowling in the twilight period of the day, the first ever day/night test proved to be a low scoring thriller. Chasing 187 in the final innings, Aussie innings was never a smooth ride. But with Shaun Marsh’s resilient 117-ball 49 (which was the longest innings of the test), Aussies secured a 3 wicket win. The only sad thing was that the game lasted for only 3 days and the fans could not get much of the picturesque Adelaide Oval sky dipped in the beautiful sunset over players playing cricket in whites.
