This series happened to be one of the most shameful and embarrassing moments in the history of Australia. The  Australian team led by Michael Clarke was beaten in the 4-match Test Series 4-0.

If the stress on the field were not enough, disputation surrounded the team even off the field. Four Australian players including the vice-captain, Shane Watson, Mitchell Johnson, James Pattinson and Usman Khawaja, were dismissed from the team for the Third test, probably for not completing their homework given by the coach.

This created a very big controversy, which had a negativeeffect on the performance of the team as they also lost the remaining matches.
