Varun Aaron fit and preparing to play Ranji match
Young speedster Varun Aaron, who was out of action for 16 months because of a back injury which needed surgery, is now fit and raring to play against Delhi in the Ranji trophy opener from October 27. “I am completely fit and will put up my best against Delhi in the four-day Ranji match.I am feeling great and facing no problem while bowling.” said the 23-year-old, who last played in IPL for Delhi Daredevils in 2012 after missing the tour of Australia in December 2011 due to stress reaction in the back.Reiterating that he would not compromise with his speed, Aaron said he was bowling his natural pace.
Varun is the only bowler who would be talented enough to replace Ishant Sharma as till now,no other long time option other than him is looking clear to replace Ishant as Ishant’s speed make him a favourite but with Varun around, some prodding needs to be done by Ishant to keep his place in the Indian team.
